Geo- of the earth, surfaces, and lines.
the geo collection was inspired by the story of persephone, the greek goddess of harvest and fertility, referencing the seasons, the crops, and the earth's surface. the smell of a pomegranate led persephone into darkness, as hades, the god of the underworld, used the taste of the fruit to lure her into the depths of his world. six seeds of a pomegranate led to persephone's six months as the queen of the lower world. so it is believed that autumn and winter mourn for her loss, but spring and summer await patiently for her return, bringing life once again.
for this collection mixed metals are used to depict the duality of light and darkness, delicate chains draping around the neck making statements juxtaposed with solid cast pendants. Large earrings dangle and sway, and small studs frame the earlobes. The geometric shapes reinvent nature's perfect symmetry, making both dramatic yet minimal statements.
